Starting out as a custom furniture business, this is where Iluka Studio really thrives.

In 2021, Jack graduated from a Bachelor of Industrial/Product Design from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

Jack understands that great furniture design means placing your needs and wants at the core of each piece. When designing your custom piece, Jack combines his natural flair for design with his experience at UTS, designing for a range of commercial clients, and over a decade of practical trade and construction experience. He relishes collaboration.

Jack designs furniture that is elegant, functional, durable, sustainable, well-suited, easy-to-care-for and provides added value. Each piece will be carefully handcrafted at the Balgowlah workshop in Sydney.

The Process:

STEP ONE : Questionnaire

Fill out the short questionnaire below to give Jack an idea of what you are looking for.

STEP TWO : Price Estimate

Jack will be in touch and provide you with a price estimate for your project based on our price guide.

STEP THREE : Let’s Design!

If you are happy to proceed, Jack will work closely with you and provide high quality computer-generated designs based on your brief. Once the final design is approved, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your order and a lead time will be provided.

    Dining LARGE: $2500 - $8000

    Coffee SMALL: $600 - $1500

    Coffee LARGE: $1100 - $4000

    Desk: $1200 - $4000

    Console: $850 - $4000

  • Side table/stools: $400 - $1800

    Sofa/lounge : $1900 - $5000

    Entertainment unit: $1600 - $5000

  • Bedbase: $1900 - $8000

    Bedsides: $600 - $2500

    Dresser: $1600 - $5000

  • Cabinet SMALL: $1200 - $3000

    Cabinet LARGE: $2000 - $8000

Do you have a different project idea not listed here? Please describe it in step one and Jack will provide a custom quote for you.

STEP THREE

After step two, you will receive an email containing the following:

  • A high quality concept drawing with dimensions and design details. This is a personal and collaborative process and Jack can adjust the design as needed.

  • A finalised invoice once you have approved the design. Payment can be made in full or with a 50% deposit.

  • A lead time. Usually custom projects are given an 8-10 week lead time from beginning to delivery.
